Why is there a difference in the covered distance between the mobile app and the bike speedometer?

This discrepancy is attributed to our data sync frequency. We synchronize data from the bike to the server every 20 seconds, estimating the shortest distance between two points for calculation. As a result, the distances displayed on the mobile app and the bike speedometer may differ. This discrepancy may be more pronounced when the user's GPS has a poor network connection.
